Course Prices and Payment Options

Price List for Certifications

CHW Certification: $750
CHW Instructor Certification: $1,200

CHW Certification Payment Plans 

Trainees paying by credit card have the option to pay in full before the first class or to pay in three installments.

  • 1st Installment: $250 due before the 1st class
  • 2nd Installment: $250 due before the 12th class
  • 3rd Installment: $250 due before the 24th class

CHW Instructor Certification Payment Plans

  • 1st Installment: $400 due before Week 1
  • 2nd Installment: $400 due before Week 12
  • 3rd Installment: $400 due before Week 24

The cost of CEU courses varies by credit hour. Installment plans are not available for CEU courses.

Employer/Organizational Payment Options

If you are an employer or organization that would like to pay for individuals to take our courses, you have the option to pay online with a credit card or to mail a check to our training center.

Mail A Check

The option to mail a check to our training center is only available to employers/organizations wishing to pay for their employees. To mail us a check, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Complete the Customer Information Form
  2. Email the completed Customer Information Form and student information to CHW-Training@tamhsc.edu
  3. We will send you an invoice with instructions for mailing the check

Refunds

Full refunds are only given before the third class session of a CHW certification class or before the third week of CHW Instructor certification class. Refunds for CEUs are only available before the course begins.

No partial refunds are allowed.

Delaying Enrollment

If an individual cannot complete the course in its entirety during the semester in which they enrolled, they have the option to delay their enrollment. However, they can only delay their enrollment one time. For example, once an individual delays enrollment and has selected another semester to complete the course, they must complete the course that semester and cannot delay a second time. An organization can only delay enrollment for a maximum of five individuals.
